Coaching + Workshop Facilitation

About me…

Ariela Morgenstern is an executive coach and facilitator who specializes in bringing intention and vitality to professionals' leadership presence and presentations. From seasoned CEOs looking to up-skill their communication, to post-MBA professionals entering the workforce, to individuals navigating a new industry’s landscape, Ariela’s communications teaching and coaching provides an expert, outside-eye assessment of strengths and clearly articulated areas of improvement.

Using her extensive knowledge of the voice and codified body movement analysis from her 20+ years of professional performance experience across the country, she uses concrete tools and pedagogy to unlock people’s voices, expand their presence, get them more comfortable and expressive in their body, and to authentically command a room.

Her recent breakthrough training program Effective Virtual Presence is helping organizations and sales teams build their credibility and networks through levelling-up their videoconferencing communication skills and presence during this crucial time. Some of her coaching and workshop clients include Salesforce, Eightfold, Kalamuna, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Blackhawk Genomics, and the U.S. Geological Survey.

Ariela has years of experience in the live and virtual classroom as a lecturer teaching Leadership Communications at the UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She regularly facilitates workshops for large companies throughout the Bay Area with the team at the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute, where she is a certified coach and now helps train the next generation at their flagship certification institutes. In addition, she teaches and coaches acting at Stanford University, the Berkeley Rep School of Theatre, and her private acting studio in San Francisco, the Singing Actor Studio.

Teaching + Coaching Testimonials…

Ariela is a force of nature bringing energy to the room with a smile. She is a compassionate instructor who really wants you to ‘get’ the material - and she will provide many different approaches to make sure you understand.
— MAYA PANDYA, IBM SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Ariela is one of those memorable teachers whose powerful balance of spontaneous humor and knowledge-driven focus makes for a hugely enjoyable and highly personal learning experience. Her voice and body awareness workshop is an eye-opening plethora of new perspectives, tools and exercises in physical and vocal exploration.

Ariela’s flexible, customized approach annihilates any comparison minds at work and empowers her students to work at their own rhythm and just barely outside of their comfort zones, enabling the necessary stretch where learning happens, and all with consistently kind encouragement and committed coaching.

Her ability to draw out the best in an individual, and from a disparate group with wildly varying levels of talent, confidence, and experience, is nothing short of masterful, her dedication to her craft truly inspirational.
— SIOBHAN MCCANN, EXECUTIVE COACH
Ariela helped me and my team transform our sometimes dense subject matter into compelling, story-driven presentations, and her work continues to be invaluable for our company.
— Andrew Mallis, CEO Kalamuna, Tech Startup

— JACOB FLECK, RESEARCH HYDROLOGIST FOR THE U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY
Extraordinary results — I consistently nailed my presentations and secured funding after every coaching with Ariela, and eventually was able to land my dream job with her help on the extensive interview process.
— SANAZ MAZINANI, ARTIST & PROFESSOR, UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO
Ariela gave me the essential pointers for a TED-style presentation - my first in this style. My presentation was well-received and I credit Ariela’s coaching for this success. She was quick and delivered her points perfectly, whether about my body language, vocal tones or content. I’m experienced in speaking to technical colleagues, decision-makers and the general public. At this point in my career, opportunities to learn new things are few and most welcome. She guided me through the learning process efficiently, with just a few face-to-face encounters and effective use of email and Internet resources.
