The Threepenny Opera

I am *THRILLED* to announce that I've started rehearsing for Marvell Rep's upcoming production of The Threepenny Opera as the hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold, Jenny!
I absolutely cannot wait to play this gem of a role again - and with such a talented bunch.
More info and calendar forthcoming, but in the meantime visit Marvell Rep's site for more info and tickets!
Love, Love, Love - The Beatles Concert
Last week I also sang in a great concert of re-imagined Beatles songs at the Beechman. Many of these people I know from a circle of wickedly talented professional singers I know who keep in performer-shape in an acting studio I couldn't recommend highly enough, the Jen Waldman Studio.
I did a funny version of "You Won't See Me" with Liz Asti and Kevin Wanzor on snarky back-up, and a fabulous band (David John Madore, keys, Nathan Siler, bass, and Tim Lykins, drums.)
Take a look at this video - and my stalker breakdown beginning around 1:50...
And here are a couple pics from the evening...

Joel B. New concert with the NYTB
Last week I sang a very funny and fabulous song by composer Joel B. New at the New York Theatre Barn's monthly show at the D-Lounge, called "What's Wrong With Me?" or, "The Fag Hag Rag."
The evening was full of great music (Joel's as well as Michael Dexter's) and the song was a hoot! A video is hopefully forthcoming but in the meantime, you can ruminate on my innocent cooking prop...

Spicy!
