The dust barely settled, and Jeff and I were almost nearly unpacked in our new Bushwick apartment when I left for Ashland, Oregon to do "I love you...now change," at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre.  After Slammer! closed this past Saturday, August 25th I took a taxi from the theatre to the airport and arrived at SFO (after taxiing for hours at JFK!) at almost 2 in the morning, and then got up and left the cozy Morgenstern household at 9 am to drive up the coast and start rehearsals at 4 pm! I made it, and everything is going very well--it's beautiful here!
